What we do:

SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC

Solar panel electricity systems, also known as solar photovoltaics (PV), capture the sun's Energyusing photovoltaic cells. These cells don't need direct sunlight to work – they can still generate some electricity on a cloudy day.

WIND TURBINES

Wind turbines harness the power of the wind and use it to generate electricity, which can be fed into the national grid and generate a significant income through the UK Feed in Tariffs. Small wind turbines known as “microwind” or “small-wind” turbines can produce electricity to help power the lights and electrical appliances in a typical home.

SOLAR WATER HEATING

Solar water heating systems use free heat from the sun to warm domestic hot water. A conventional boiler or immersion heater can be used to make the water hotter, or to provide hot water when solar Energyis unavailable.

ECODAN HEAT PUMPS

Heat pumps are simple to install, cost effective and offer outstanding Energyefficiency. The technology offers a low carbon alternative to traditional boilers in modern buildings. The typical payback time if the technology is correctly sized in a well-insulated building is 5 years.

SOLAR BATTERY STORAGE

Solid Renewables are approved installers of the Tesla Powerwall; a major leap forward in solar battery technology a nd the most popular solar battery system on the UK market.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging

Electric vehicles are an increasingly attractive option, due to their lower running costs, the expanding choice of models available and intensifying concerns about air quality and climate change.

BIOMASS SYSTEMS

Wood fuelled heating systems generally burn wood pellets, chips or logs to power central heating and hot water boilers or to provide warmth in a single room.
