West End Barns is a family run takeaway café located on a working farm, opposite Heartwood and Nomansland in Wheathampstead. West End Barns opened in March 2021 and their owner, Vicky Smith, recently won the National Federation of Young Farmer's Clubs' Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

The barn serves delicious hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes and ice creams, as well as having a selection of locally produced products on offer which includes honey, rapeseed oil and candles. The café is dog friendly and also has undercover seating.
